Terms and Conditions for Strobe Runner

Licence to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the App on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App or its content;
• use cheats, automation, or exploits to alter the App or its progress;
• use the App for any unlawful purpose.

Gameplay

Strobe Runner is a beat-synced auto-runner. Levels unlock in order as you complete them. Every level is tested to be beatable with the standard controls.

We may add, change, rebalance, or remove levels and features at any time through App updates.

Advertising and Purchases

The App is free. The current version contains no ads and no in-app purchases.

A future version may add advertising (for example through Google AdMob) or optional purchases. If we do, we will update these Terms and this Privacy Policy before that version is released, and the Google Play listing will show that the App contains ads.

Privacy and Data

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. The App has no account system and does not request internet access, so it cannot send data from your device.

Data stored on your device

The App saves the following only on your device, in its private app storage:

• your attempt count, best completion percentage for each level, and which levels are unlocked;
• audio settings: master volume, music and sound effects on or off, and their volume levels.

Uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes this information. We have no copy of it and cannot restore it.

Third parties

The App does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Google Play, which you use to download the App, handles its own data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Permissions

The App requests only the vibration permission. It does not request internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage access.

Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Flashing Lights Warning

The App uses bright, flashing, and pulsing visuals synced to music. A small percentage of people may experience seizures or discomfort when exposed to flashing lights or patterns. If you or anyone in your family has a history of epilepsy or seizures, consult a doctor before playing. Stop playing immediately if you feel dizzy, have blurred vision, eye or muscle twitches, or any other discomfort.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, levels, artwork, music, sounds, and name, is owned by Niroj Sapkota and is protected by copyright and other laws. All music and sound effects are original and generated for the App; no third-party audio is used. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, or that saved progress will never be lost.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these Terms. The Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, and Liability sections survive termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date on this page. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
